About Us

Our Story

DFW Immigrant Law Center is a program at the Center for Social and Rural Development Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the Dallas Fort Worth area. We are a lay organization that aspires to live the gospel message by serving Christ in the poor immigrants with love, respect, justice, hope and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.

Founded to address a profound need for accessible and compassionate legal support for foreign-born individuals in the Dallas Fort Worth metropolitan area, our journey began with a small group of passionate legal and community leaders united by a shared vision: to empower immigrants and refugees through high-quality, pro bono legal representation and robust community resources.
